New guidelines for getting back to work

I hope this message finds you happy and healthy. I am excited to begin decluttering and organizing again soon, but most of all, I am looking forward to seeing clients again! As summer sessions begin, there are New Guidelines that need to be followed. Please read through the following carefully. Clients

  • If you are sick or not feeling well, please cancel the appointment. If you have a high temperature, please cancel. If someone in your home is not feeling well, please cancel. If you have been in recent contact with someone who is sick, please cancel. If you have allergies with uncontrollable sneezing, please cancel.

  • Wear a mask. Preferably the style that wraps behind the ears to give a secure fit as our sessions can be very active. If you do not have a mask, I will provide you with one.

  • Wash your hands before and after a session. Use hand sanitizer and/or wipes whenever appropriate.

  • Wear gloves as a precaution. If you do not have gloves, I can provide a pair of latex gloves.

  • Limit family members and visitors to the area we are working in during a session. Secure pets as appropriate.

  • Maintain an appropriate amount of social distance (at least six feet) during the session. This will change how our sessions typically look. For example, we will not be able to work together inside a closet. However, you can be at a staging area (a bed or table) making decisions on items I remove from/return to the closet.

  • Hands-free credit card payment will be used. Rather than swipe a credit card I will send an invoice via email which can then be paid via credit card online. Payment by check is still acceptable, and pre-payment of sessions is always allowed.

  • If we will be working with certain existing items (totes, boxes, file cabinets, drawers, shelves etc.) consider wiping the items down with soap and water, or disinfectant, before a session.

  • If possible, choose to work on an outdoor space during the summer months, such as a storage unit or garage.

My responsibility

  • If I am sick or not feeling well, I will cancel the appointment. If I have a high temperature, I will cancel. If someone in my home is sick or not feeling well, I will cancel. If I have been in recent contact with someone who is sick, I will cancel.

  • I will take my temperature each day, as well as before each session.

  • I will wear a clean mask at each session.

  • I will wash my hands before and after a session, and use hand sanitizer and/or wipes whenever appropriate.

  • I will wear a clean pair of work gloves during our session. I will also have latex gloves available.

  • I will maintain an appropriate amount of social distance (at least six feet) during the session.

  • I will maintain adequate sanitation/disinfection of supplies.

  • I am staying home as much as possible to avoid exposure to others.

  • I am wearing a mask when I go out and am maintaining appropriate social distancing.

  • I am not allowing visitors into my home.

  • I am working with only one client per day.

  • I can take donations after our session as long as Goodwill and/or St. Vinnys is open and accepting donations.
